Follow a Product Final Project
Individually you will choose one product/service within the company and follow it through the term as you learn about marketing concepts. This should allow you to apply marketing principles to the same product/service that you build upon over the course of the term to help you understand some of the major aspects of the principles of marketing. Each assignment paper will be focusing on applying the course concepts you’ve learned from discussions, activities, and reading to help you synthesize and understand marketing concepts and marketing management.
The outcome of the paper is a show of understanding how each element shows principles of marketing for the product/service that you have chosen from week 1. Each assignment will be supporting the final paper. The final paper should be a project that follows one product/service throughout the term while each assignment goes deeper on the research of all the principles of marketing and should end with a research paper with a better understanding of marketing in general.
The final paper will be a total of 12-15 pages, typed double space, Times New Roman, 12pt font size. APA 7th will be used on all submissions.
Below is the lay-out of the Final Paper Project
Week 2: Choose a product/ Service ● How is your product/service marketed to the consumer? ● What are some (named five) marketing functions that you see from your chosen product/service? ● How does the organization use marketing? ● What does the customer relationship look like from your perspective? ● Is your product/service segmented?
Week 4: Social Responsibility and Consumer Behavior ● What is the marketing strategy that your product/service chooses? Provide specific strategies. ● Look at their product/services? Are there any ethical issues that you can see? Research them. ● What kind of social responsibility do they employ in their company? ● What does consumer behavior look like? What kind of research do you think they do to ensure they follow the current consumer behavior
through the current pandemic trends?

Week 6: Pricing Strategies, Positioning, Branding, Product Marketing ● Look at your chosen product/service, how are they positioning it with their competitors? ● How are they branding it? ● What kind of marketing do they do with their product/service? How are they pricing their product/service? ● What are their price objectives? Low to gain new customers or high to gain branding differentiation?
