(A) Study the community characteristics / problems / background of diabetic in Bronx NY from different perspective; (such as social, economic, healthcare, nutrition etc.,)
(B) Develop a research problems / questions / assumptions (or hypotheses)
(C) Develop a concept paper of your research design
Remember the relationship between conceptualization and operationalization
(1) Research Design Concept paper helps you to understand the whole picture and background of diabetes in Bronx.
(2) Example: to summarize the literature review, (references such as: periodicals, articles, news, Government publications, statistical data, reliable internet healthcare related information etc.,etc.,)
(3) to understand the phenomenon and characteristics etc of diabetes in Bronx, NY,
(4) to build the research problems and research questions. What kind of diabetes in Bronx related questions you want to ask? How are you going to answer the questions from the further data analysis? What kind of data may help you to answer your research questions?
(5) The research design concept paper is part of the conceptualization process.
