To educate a group of mothers about the importance of eating healthy food, you might say, “Eating five servings of fruit each day is good for your family. There are lots options like bananas, apples, and pears, they taste good, and you can find them at any grocery store.”
To change the behaviors of the same group, you might say, “Everyone agreed that you want to see your children grow up and be there for their graduations and special days. Eating five servings of fruit everyday is healthy and can help you live a longer, better life. Some of you might think it’s hard to get all five in, but at the end of this session, you will know how to easily get your five servings of fruit each day and you will leave with vouchers for fresh fruit from your local farmer’s market.”
