Assessment. A systematic, dynamic process by which the registered nurse collects and analyzes data through interaction with the [student] family, groups, communities, populations, healthcare providers, and interprofessional colleagues. Autonomy. The capacity of a nurse to determine own actions through independent choice, including demonstration of competence within the full scope of nursing practice.
Bias. Prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.
