Self-Actualization: An example of self-actualization is when teachers teach because it’s their calling. They find working with the students fulfilling because they don’t expectant thing in return and are satisfied with where they are in life. Which is why, they would have a strong determination in helping their students succeed. Self-Serving Bias: An example of self-serving bias is when an employee hopes to get a promotion at their job and the manager promotes someone else. As a result, the employee indicates that the reason for not getting the promotion is because the manager didn’t really like her. But if the employee ends up getting the promotion, she would say that the reason would be due to her sales quota and effective communication skills.
