Investigators for a separate study found that study participants with type 2 diabetes who lived in neighborhoods that were more affluent, had more residential stability, and whose residents had higher levels of education and professional occupations had fewer depressive symptoms than participants with type 2 diabetes who lived in less advantaged neighborhoods
