An agenda will usually be transferred into a physical document so that it can be distributed and viewed
by participants in advance of the meeting taking place. This enables people to prepare or print out any
documents if necessary or to simply start thinking ahead about issues they would like to discuss.
The format of the agenda should be considered in relation to the meeting purpose and the expected
level of formality. For example, you might decide to simply send a particular work team a list of topics
that will be the focus of an upcoming meeting, or a detailed table with timings, objectives, and
responsibilities could be included.
