Some errors in the experimental process may have contributed to the deviation in the results. These may include:
· Crystal impurities – The crystal modules may can defects or impurities that can affect the ability of carriers to reach the ends of the PCD contact. This therefore influences the minority carrier characteristics obtained from the experiments
· Waiting for the averaging to reach steady state before exporting the oscilloscope data – the averaging may have not reached steady state before the results were exported into the USB. This may affect the data values obtained the csv. files
· Equipment quality – The equipment itself may not be the best quality to replicate the most accurate results. The literature values were probably obtained in specified environments with specialised equipment which would cause deviation to occur.
